Named to recognize the philanthropic Hotchkiss family, the new community has been in the making for several years, with the latest milestone achieved in June 2021 - commencement of community development.
The new community boasts 51 acres of public park space surrounded by stunning wetlands and mountain views. Hotchkiss will neighbour established areas including Mahogany, Copperfield, Ralph Klein Park and more, and is accessible by Stoney Trail.
With show homes set to open in Fall 2022, the new community will feature family-friendly paired homes, laned homes, and front-attached garage homes. At full build-out, Hotchkiss will include 2,300 homes, and will be home to nearly 5,000 residents.
We're excited to announce that land development officially commenced this June, with grading and home construction preparation now fully underway, says Brett Friesen, Hopewell Residential's Senior Vice-President, Business and Community Development.
